I will dominate 'credible fighter' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-bout contest which will be shown live on the streaming platform.

Briton Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the pair met personally to publicize next month's bout.

Former twice unified heavyweight champion Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami venue on 19 December.

Fighter's Mindset

"I'm going to damage his features and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.

"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I will genuinely try to hurt him. That's my goal."

Civil Exchange

Despite these statements, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally known for his dramatics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.

Paul rather attacked former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.

Targeting Fury

Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK rival Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.

"[Paul] outshines Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.

"I respect him for that."

Legitimate Opponent

Despite saying he intends to punish Paul, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.

"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.

Paul's Background

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since turning professional.

He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.

Commercial Success

Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's biggest money-making draws, frequently receiving massive financial rewards.

Forecast and Belief

The 28 year old anticipated a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would prevent the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.

"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul stated.

Physical Disparity

As the two fighters engaged in the traditional stare-down, with their height and weight contrast evident, it highlighted just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is actually happening.
